Jeffrey Black for Willoughby Council At Large
Spending the past nine years in the council at large seat, Black’s main goals, if re-elected, are aimed at maintaining a steady growth in the city.“Continue working on our plans to improve storm runoff and backup issues in the city,” he said in his questionnaire. “Continue to maintain balanced budgets without tax increases. (And) increase the housing values in the city by keeping property values high.”
An attorney, Black’s non-elected experience includes serving as a Willoughby Municipal Court magistrate and on the Lake County Public Defenders Commission.
“My nine years of experience on council and my 50-plus years as a Willoughby resident make me most qualified to continue in this position,” he said.
