Jakosh, an 11-year resident, was appointed to council in 2012.
She is a former fundraiser coordinator for McMinn Baseball League, active with the Junior AM Vets at Post 109, and past-president of Ursuline College’s Psi Chi chapter.
She hopes to help improve city finances, communication with residents, and to “hold city leaders and departments accountable.”
“I take my job as a councilperson very seriously,” she said. “I am not here to fulfill my own agenda or to agree with the agenda of other city officials.”
Jakosh is married to Ryan and has a 14-year-old son.
