Judy Caputo
Caputo said the township’s finances, accountability of tax dollars, and fiscal responsibility are among the most important roles as a trustee.
“I will continue to accomplish this by a series of checks and balances which I do on a weekly basis,” she said in her election questionnaire. “With the State of Ohio’s changes regarding the elimination of estate taxes and local government funding, the township’s resources are becoming smaller, so it is important to continue to be fiscally responsible with the revenues we receive.”
Caputo wants to accomplish this as long as possible without asking the voters for a tax increase.
Other goals are to continue large lot zoning and to protect the health, safety and welfare of residents by supporting the police, fire and road departments.
