Kimberly Evers for Eastlake Council At Large
A U.S. Army veteran, Evers said the three areas he intends to focus on if elected are communication, cooperation and commitment and service to the people of Eastlake. In his questionnaire, he said he like to see more citizen involvement within city council, make better use of public access channels 99 and 12, and help bring back the voice of the voters in city government.
“Being retired I can spend all my time working for the residents of Eastlake,” Evers said. “I would be a full-time council person.”
If elected, other area he’d like to improve include exploring more sources for additional revenue, securing more grants and attracting more businesses to the city.
Evers has also served on the Eastlake River Fest Committee, Eastlake Home Day Committee, and is a member of Eastlake Community Block Watch.
