McArthur is a former Planning Commission and Charter Review Committee member and has resided in the city for 17 years.
The KeyBank small-business manager also is involved with Chardon Tomorrow, the Chamber of Commerce and Chardon Square Association.
Her plans include supporting continued efforts to attract new businesses and jobs, to maintain and improve streets and infrastructure, and to keep finances healthy.
Among her accomplishments she lists initiation of a state performance audit, improving tax collections and spearheading a revitalization district.
“My record proves that I have an unwavering commitment to Chardon families and businesses,” she said. “It takes dedication, hard work, and perseverance to build consensus and achieve real progress.”
