Kinney said if he is elected, he would intend to continue to build the value residents have always found in the community.
He would solicit input from all facets of the community’s stakeholders, promote and support active involvement of the township’s employees and thoroughly investigate and seek to fully understand the rationale for investing in any township resources prior to making decisions.
“I will use my professional training and experience, as well as my interest in people and joy of working with others, to help bring Chester to the level of an even better community,” Kinney said in his election questionnaire.
He said that as a past member of the township Citizens Advisory Board that he helped lead successful introduction of ambulance rebilling that has brought in additional revenue annually to the township.
