Wessman credits her life experience of practicing law as a good foundation to represent the village and serve the residents.
“Having over 30 years in the private practice of law and representing a great many clients in all aspects of law has given me a view of people and government that many individuals have not had the opportunity to gain,” she said.
Wessman, now retired, has been a resident of Mayfield Village for 35 years, which she says has given her a “unique view of the many events and the progress the village has experienced in the past.”
She was a past member of Cleveland, Cuyahoga, and Ohio State Bar Associations, former high school teacher, and served as special council to two Ohio Attorney Generals.
