A long-time resident and current at-large council member for 12 years, Marrie wants to continue to make improvements to the community.
He said he would like to complete sewer programs for Eastgate, Meadowood and Thornapple, complete the Greenway Trail and complete the improvement project on our community center.
“These will be accomplished by watching out finances carefully,” Marrie said. “Our village is in outstanding financial condition.”
As the current Council President Pro Tem, he hopes the council continues to work together, and provide for the people.
“We are extremely proud of our services and feel we have some of the very best in the county,” he said.
Marrie has been a resident for 49 years, and has served or chaired several committees in the village, such as finance, economic development, recreation and wage review.
