Jim Mueller
Mueller has served as a township trustee since 2005 and he believes the
most important goal in Russell Township is to keep the community as
close to what it is today during the years ahead.
He wants to keep large lot zoning in place and keep urban sewers and city water out of the township.
Mueller said cuts in state funding have forced the township to make
serious adjustments such as cutting almost all capital improvements, but
his goal is to keep a high level of police and fire services and road
operations.
He looks to maintain and expand open spaces and look for private conservation easements and land donation.
“Most people in Russell Township know what a great community we live
in,” Mueller said. “They value our quiet, our open space, our tranquil
way of life.”
