Linda J. O’Brien
O’Brien said she aims to create transparency in the township’s
leadership with meetings at convenient times for residents and minutes
available within three working days.
O’Brien said the township needs to live within its means now that state
money has diminished and the township should work to eliminate some
unnecessary assets to generate revenue and tighten the township’s belt.
She also would look to heighten residents awareness of federal and state
government initiatives that she believes aim to transform rural America
by taking money from suburbs to use for urban initiatives.
“I believe Russell needs more business sense and less political
nonsense,” she said. “I have successfully managed corporate budgets
greater than the township’s annual budget, and I have helped my clients
achieve greater results with less resources.”
