Strickland lists the Board of the Lake County Historical Society, the Lake County Bar Association, Am Spirit Business Connections and the Lake County Chamber of Commerce’s FUEL program as non-elected office experience in his candidate questionnaire.
He said he wants to put public meetings on the website for public viewing, increase social media communication, revamp the newsletter and hold town hall meetings.
Crediting strength in developing strong business partnerships, Strickland said he would engage neighboring communities to strengthen partnerships.
“I would work to end long-standing community disputes over annexation, land use and economic development while clearly protecting the township’s boundaries and tax base,” he wrote.
