Kathy Quintiliano
Quintiliano, a married mother of
two children, is the only current Midview School Board member seeking
one of the three expiring terms this year.
She was elected to the
board in November 2009 and took office in January 2010 to serve her
first four-year term. Quintiliano currently serves as board president.
Quintiliano has been a resident of Eaton Township for 23 years and
works as an accountant for the Department of Veteran Affairs. She holds a
Master of Science in Economic Crime Management from Utica College.
If re-elected, Quintiliano said she will continue to maintain open and
honest communication with the community, make sure district dollars are
spent wisely and ensure the district continues serving the students by
offering the best education possible.
Quintiliano said along with
the help of the community, she and fellow board members were able to
pass a levy, allowing for the building of a new middle school and helped
the community understand the needs of the district.
“With the loss
of funding from the state, it is important for the community to
understand how the school can still give the very best education with
less,” she added.
