Rene’ Aston, running for Painesville City Council At Large
Aston wrote about a three-pronged approach she would take to address change in Painesville: Increasing Painesville’s tax base, better quality of life and road repairs.
“We just cannot attract businesses and families to the area when our roads are in such disrepair,” Aston wrote. “I am willing to work to see that Painesville become the thriving city that it once was.”
She said securing funds for a community recreation center would bring something families could use all year.
Aston is a previous member of the Lake County Fair Housing Board and board secretary for the Lake County Mental Health Center’s Point One Behavior Health.
