A lifelong Geauga County resident, Remias said he would like to assist with providing the best service to children through cost effectiveness. He believes this can be accomplished with grants and the combined efforts of superintendents, principals, teachers and families. Other means include utilizing different services by establishing long- and short-term goals and objectives.
He believes voters should elect him based on his past accomplishments and experience, including his work as a professor teaching criminal justice courses and administrator handling basic police academies across Ohio.
“I am capable of handling any issue that the Geauga ESC Board might acquire” he said.
Remias is a member of VFW Post 1863, Buckeye Sheriff’s Association, Geauga Farm Bureau, Geauga County Department on Aging and National Auctioneer Association. He also worked with the Geauga County Umpire Association.
