If elected, areas she would like to address include lack of a nepotism policy.
“When administrators are allowed/encouraged to hire relatives and friends to work under their direct supervision, very little if any good comes from this experience,” she said.
She also would like to delve into expenditures, and added that, “I believe there are funds which could be redirected without adversely affecting the education of our students.” Richardson believes that she should be elected because she has witnessed district proceedings throughout her lengthy career.
“I have seen so much change, most of it for the better,” she said. “There are some areas, however, where improvement still needs to me made. We need an open and honest approach to what really happens with financing.”
