Duane Frager for Madison Village Council

Frager faces his first re-election campaign since being appointed to Madison’s newly chartered seventh council seat.
The nine-year resident said if he is re-elected, he will look for ways other than passing a levy to fund police coverage in the village and ensure a 12-step stormwater management project is well-funded as it seeks to reduce flooding. Additionally, Frager said he is committed to finding the best administrator to serve the village while on the administrator search committee with the mayor, fiscal officer and two councilmen.
“The residents in this region are tough, smart and able to handle the truth,” Frager said. “It is something that I have seen and experienced in my time here and is part of what attracted me to Madison in the first place.”
