Gregory Mabe hasn’t held elected office but he did try to run for Madison Village Council once before in 2005.
The 30-year resident said if he is elected, he plans to make a detailed
examination of the village’s various expense and revenue sources and
prioritize a check-off list of needed infrastructure improvements in the
village.
In addition, Mabe said he wants to emphasize development plans that does
not disrupt the way of life for residents in the village of Madison.
“I grew up here, went to school here, got married here and am raising my
children here,” Mabe said. “I was here when Fisher Big Wheel was the
place to shop, when Joey’s was Longo’s and Walmart was a field. I have
seen Madison change in so many ways and want to be involved in its
future.”
