Mark Iafelice for Wickliffe Council At Large
If re-elected to council at large, Iafelice said he wants to move forward with addressing the city’s sewer problems, research development of commercial properties and continue upgrading city water lines during street improvement projects.“One area for improvement would be to develop a comprehensive plan to televise all the city’s sanitary sewers and have a total cleaning program,” he said in his questionnaire. “Further program research would need to be accomplished by the city engineer.”
He’d also increase research on land development of commercial properties within Wickliffe, including 10 acres of commercial land owned by the city, he said.
“Voters should re-elect me based on positive council accomplishments over the past four years, including the new swimming pool, baseball fields and soccer fields at Jindra Park; the numerous road improvements and waterline replacements; continuing to maintain superior city services; and maintaining trash/yard waste pickup at no charge to the residents,” he said.
