Joseph Solnosky, running for Kirtland School Board

Solnosky cites understanding financial health of the district, “efficiency within the system” and open communication as priorities if elected.
“Communicating both the successes and challenges of the school system with all members of the community is critical in establishing a transparent environment of trust between all interested parties,” he wrote in his questionnaire.
Solnosky wrote that he has learned that fiscal responsibility along with continuous improvement and communication “are all critical to operating a successful organization.”
“I will work diligently (toward) achieving those goals. I will become intimate with the complete financial picture of the school system, will work (toward) strengthening that position while maintaining a strong and communicative relationship with faculty, parents and tax-paying residents of the school system,” he wrote.
