Tammy Holtzmeier
If elected to Council at-Large, Holtzmeier said she will continue
focusing on the city’s economic development while being fiscally
responsible, improving the city’s sewer and storm water infrastructure
and implement a community pool using the funds from a .25 percent
recreational income tax passed in 2007.
Using her banking expertise, Holtzmeier said her financial management skills will be an asset when serving on Council.
“My professional background in finance and my board experience will
quickly prove effective as Council enacts ordinances and resolutions,
appropriates money and accepts bids,” Holtzmeier said. “These decisions,
which provide for the safety and well-being of our resident
stakeholders, must operate within the framework of realistic fiscal
projections. I will work hard for Avon residents and I will bring the
best of my skills to City Council.”
