Kenneth M. Armstrong for Russell Township trustee

Kenneth M. Armstrong
Armstrong wants to increase and improve the level of transparency that trustees provide regarding the township’s business.
“The fact that so many people are running for trustee is a statement to the state of affairs for the township,” he said.
Armstrong said he would improve fiscal responsibility through a disciplined process of budget development to maximize township funds. He also would aim to increase the involvement of local service organizations in the preservation and improvement of township resources.
“Understanding why more tax burden should be placed on our residents is a critical need that is not and has not been provided to township residents,” he said.
“I am not convinced that additional tax dollars are needed based on my current understanding of the state of our budget.”
