Larry Luciano, running for Willoughby-Eastlake School Board

Luciano said that if elected, he would like to see the district increase partnerships with local businesses and colleges, increase blended learning and improve communication with community.
“Our schools need to constantly communicate with our stakeholders, our taxpayers, about the value they are getting from their local school district,” he wrote in his questionnaire. “This means people with and without children enrolled in our school. They need to see the value that our public schools offer. This is necessary in today’s highly-competitive educational environment.”
Luciano cites his experience in education as reason to be elected.
“I understand the workings of a public school from both the teacher and the management perspectives as well as from parent and taxpayer viewpoint,” he wrote.
He has lived in Willoughby for 13 years.
