Robert M. Johnson, running for Mentor-on-the-Lake City Council

Johnson has lived seven years in the city and is involved with organizations related to his vocation as a chemist.
His goals include changing the makeup of council from seven at-large members to two at-large and five wards, or reducing the number of members to five.
“It would provide residents a direct go-to person for their issues, and someone to hold accountable to be an advocate for them,” he said.
He also is concerned about deteriorating homes affecting property values and communication with constituents.
