O’Keeffe has lived in Willoughby for nine years and cites quality of education, financial stability, accountability and transparency as his top priorities.
O’Keeffe wrote that he has been very active in the district in recent years, despite not being a board member.
“I successfully led the 1 1/2-year effort to remove the elementary school math series that students, parents and teachers intensely disliked (and) I have brought the district’s overstaffing problem to the attention of the public,” he wrote in the questionnaire.
