John Plecnik, running for Willoughby Hills Council At Large

John Plecnik, running for Willoughby Hills Council At Large

A law professor at the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University, Plecnik says his background in accounting and law would make him a good city council member.
Plecnik has lived in Willoughby Hills for more than three years and serves on the city's Recreation Committee. He also serves as vice president of the Library Board of Trustees for the Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library System.
In his questionnaire, Plecnik identified three areas he'd like to improve if elected. Those include improving the city's fiscal responsibility, implementing strategic and long-term plans for the city's budget, and attracting quality businesses to the city.
Plecnik's campaign motto is "READY to SERVE," and he says he'll be ready to work on his first day in office if elected.
