Steve Norris for Willoughby Council Ward 2

A teacher at Willoughby South, Norris’ objectives, if elected, include being an advocate for public safety, developing community services, and promote financial stability while advancing economic development.
“Maintaining and, where necessary, improving the capacity for emergency services is vitally important to protecting the City of Willoughby as it continues to grow,” he said in his questionnaire.
Norris’ other goals include expanding park and recreation services, reaching an acceptable timeline for completing the upgrades to the city’s sewer/sanitary lines, and working to grow the city’s reputation for being hospitable to new and established businesses.
“I have brought energy, innovation, and common sense to the organizations to which I belong,” he wrote in his questionnaire. “…I attack problems head on while being open to innovative methods to achieve the desired results.”
