Kenneth Blakely, running for Leroy Township Trustee

Kenneth Blakeley is the manager at the Subway in Leroy’s 5-Points and an independent new home construction manager.
If elected, Blakeley said he will aim to maintain the township’s rural and family-oriented environment, improve roads and maintain speed limits, cemeteries and historical sites.
He also wishes to update the township’s road garages, ball fields, recreational areas, and town hall.
“As a long-time resident and business owner in Leroy Township, (I am) ready to bring fresh ideas with new energy and excitement to
our community,” Blakeley said.
The 38-year township resident is a member of the Concord-Leroy Area Chamber of Commerce, Lake County Farm Bureau and a volunteer at Lake County’s 4-H Club.
Blakeley has also volunteered his expertise for Lake Metropolitan Housing Authority and Lake County’s Community Development.
