Mark Timm, running for Leroy Township TrusteeMark Timm, a technical writer for STERIS Corp., has served as the township’s assistant zoning inspector since March 2011.
If elected, Timm said he will maintain the township’s rural environment, pursue grants for community facilities and services and communicate with different groups to better understand their needs.
The six-year resident has also volunteered on Leroy Township’s Recreation Advisory Board since July 2007, and is a former president and project coordinator for Single Volunteers of Lake County.
“As a volunteer, I have offered my time for conservation issues, scholarship fund raisers and helped build and repair houses in the community,” said Timm
