This is Fries’ first time running for office. She is a liaison for Oakwood School and employed by Horizon Education Centers.
Fries is a 1997 graduate of Clearview High School, of Lorain County Community College and Cleveland State University where she earned a bachelor of science degree in education.
If elected, Fries said she would like to establish educational goals to help shape the future of Clearview Schools and the community.
“If I am elected to office I will strive to ensure that our schools meet the individual educational needs for all children,” she said. “I will ensure that the community is fully and accurately informed about our schools and I will strive to ensure that all conclusions are made only after all board members have agreed on the decision.”
Fries is a 30-year resident of Sheffield Township and has two children in Clearview Schools.
