John Manfredi, Berkshire School Board

John Manfredi
Manfredi is seeking a third term on the board.
“What (the board is) currently working on is the ability for school consolidation,” he said.
Manfredi also noted that “we have aged buildings and the cost to maintain them is very high. We are looking to seek funding to construct new facilities and house our children on a common campus. With the state legislators help I hope that we can work with the Ohio Facilities Commission and be able to consolidate districts.”
He said that since he was elected in 2005 his goal has always been to see the district improve. “We have maintained an excellent district rating and cost per pupil is always near the lowest in the county,” he said. “Our administrative staff stays consistent and we seem to be able to maintain courses of education that enable our students to be prepared for college or the workplace”
Manfredi is a member of the Ohio School Board Association and Berkshire Athletic Boosters.
