Kimberly M. Brown, for Berkshire School Board

Kimberly M. Brown
“There are many pertinent issues facing the Berkshire Local School District today,” Brown said. “Firstly, the combining of the Newbury School District and ours is currently under great investigation. Board members and the community must look at several aspects of both districts in order to choose what is right for our children.
“Our children are what counts in all measures of the school district and everything from building structures to busing to education as well as the administration of it all must be looked over with a fine tooth comb before this can come to fruition.”
Brown said voters should elect her because she wants to help children pursue their goals in life despite the many obstacles they may face.
She served as co-president of the Burton Elementary PTO in 2004 and as president from 2005-10. She serves as the adviser for Geauga Prime Time 4-H Club.
