Michael J. Lotko III for Elyria City Council

Michael J. Lotko III
Lotko, a life-long resident of Elyria, has served as council-at-large for 18 years and has been president of council the past two years.
The 50-year-old father of two is an insurance-investment representative for Parsons Insurance Agency.
Lotko is a member of the Elyria Sunrise Rotary. He is an Elyria High School graduate with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University.
Lotko said if re-elected, he plans to address safety, economic development and fiscal responsibility issues within the city. He plans to utilize grants and other resources to strengthen police and fire protection, position the city for job growth by utilizing enterprise zones and the Community Reinvestment Act and work together with the administration to spend tax dollars “wisely to provide the services citizens deserve.”
“As president of council, I will continue to bring council and the administration together with the main focus of fiscal responsibility,” Lotko said.
As a business owner, he said he is committed to making Elyria a great place to live and work.
